The uppers, made out of a single sheet, feature very little stitching, making this model extremely minimalistic and rigid. The wings, which are formed from the same piece of leather as the tongue, are structured so as to fold. This construction method can also be seen in outdoor shoes from long ago, and the design serves to block dust as well.
